Was Matthew Morrison actually in "The Producers" on Broadway?

I know that he performed "Springtime For Hitler" from the smash-hit musical "The Producers" with Gary Beach (who was in "The Producers" on Broadway, and the movie) at the tribute to Mel Brooks, but just out of curiousity, was he actually in any Broadway production of it? I was reading on his website that his most famous Broadway plays were "South Pacific", "Hairspray", and "Light in the Piazza", but does anyone know if he had a part in it?
